America in Deception
America is living in great deception. We must wake up! The United States was formed on Biblical principles. In 1830 Alexis Detocqueville coined the phrase "American Exceptionalism" describing our democracy, which had been founded on God to be so exceptional that it would not, could not ever be duplicated. Now we are in jeopardy of losing it.
We've had only 1 form of Government, France: 15, 20th Century Afghanistan: 5 different constitutions, Poland: 7 since 1921, Russia: 14 since 1917. America is the only nation in the world that has not averaged a revolution every 30-40 yrs.
Have we been taking our stability for granite, thinking it happens naturally? It doesn't. FREEDOM has not been and is not FREE! What America has experienced up to these last few decades did not happen by osmosis and is not normal. It took the faith of our Forefathers standing on the Word of God, a lot of blood, sweat and tears. We broke away from England & NOW every effort is being made to make us like Europe.
T. Jefferson said "Comparing our government with those of Europe was like comparing heaven with hell." NOW they are doing everything possible to eliminate all references to heaven, including (banning) public nativity scenes.
Andrew Jackson said, "The Bible is the Rock on which our republic rests." NOW they are wanting to eliminate the Rock on which this great country was established. Even as much as taking In God We Trust off of our money.
John Adams pointed to preachers as being very influential to America's independence. Every right set forth in the Declaration of Independence had been preached from the American pulpits prior to 1763. That means that the Declaration of Independence is a compilation of Christian messages. NOW they are wanting our pastors to be quieted.
From our very beginning, the opening of Congress has been led by prayer. These prayers were not dinky, according to Congressional records; some of these opening prayer sessions were up to 3 hours long.
George Washington, when he was our Commanding Officer, said in 1778 that, "The hand of providence has been so conspicuous in America’s happenings that he who lacks faith is worse than an infidel & more than wicked is he who has not gratitude enough to acknowledge his obligations". George Washington further said that, “If one could not see what God had done and thank HIM for what He has done, he must be downright wicked". NOW this past May (2009), our President chose to disregard the National Day of Prayer.
1781 found us no longer under the law of the English kings. This gave us the right to print Bibles in the English language. In 1782, the Bible of the American Revolution was printed by the Congress of the U.S. Why? For the use of our public schools. They knew that Satan's #1 purpose is to keep us out of Scripture, and they were not about to let that happen. In fact for this purpose, the first public school law which was called The Old Deluder Satan Act was enacted. For the next 320 years, the Bible was part of Public School teaching. Up to 6/17/63 when the Supreme Court issued a double decision to not have Bibles in schools anymore, Bible teaching was part of the daily school curriculum. Our History books were full of the Truth. Now our children are reading occultic books and forbidden to even pray in school.
Our forefathers communicated with God, thinking circumstances and situations through by using Biblical Principles. Up to the Baby Boomer era, children were taught to think. I believe the tools of spell and grammar check and calculators that our children are encouraged to use in school, even for tests, have been part of Satan's ploys to get our children, our future leaders to stop thinking for themselves. They have been taught to be non-thinkers, lethargic, having everything come with a click of their fingers, rather than their minds and hearts. This has been the absolute opposite of what is meant by Proverbs 22:6, Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
England demanded the banks to give money to the people. America gave the people's money to the banks.
Our nation has GREED, GREED, GREED! America's turmoil has involved a breakdown in our government's responsibilities to serve us, to be for the people, and by the people. PTL, our God has not! His LOVE, LOVE, LOVE is everlasting! Moses, Abraham, and Joseph, were all God's children and so are we! God saw them through rough, tough times, and if we depend upon HIM as they did, HE will see us through too.
Our sovereign God faithfully provided for His children yesterday. He does today and as long as we remain before Him in prayer, with attempts at righteous living…our God will continue to do so.
As in Matthew 6:33, we must seek first His kingdom, His righteousness, and all other things will be given to us as well. Many times, our God supplies in ways that we recognize only after receiving them. Nothing is impossible with God. He can put His people back in charge. Where HIS manger is accepted and the cross, then these will not be thought of as foolishness. Where God's ways will once again prevail…. Many times, God has blessed me far beyond my wildest expectations. I know many of you have experienced the same.
SIN is a major hindrance to receiving God's answers to our prayers. SIN…and America has A LOT of it. We His children, MUST beseech forgiveness, and help in every way possible in the repenting / turning away from sin in this great land.
It was not that long ago that people cleaned closets. Now people spend time coming out of them and demanding that others consider them cleaned.
In years gone by, everyone was entitled to a life of liberty and the pursuit of happiness. NOW everyone is not even entitled to life. For decades innocent blood of precious little ones has been flowing in our gutters like rain.
WE MUST STOP BEING SILENT, STAND UP AND BE HEARD, TAKE OUR RIGHTFUL PLACE, PRAY, & PROMOTE GODLY LEADERS.
God Rules, NOT Wall Street, or Dow Jones. They are broke! The United Nations is NOT going to solve America's problems. But we know the Maker of the Wind, The One Who rises the sun up every morning and the moon at night. We know the God of all gods!
He parted the Red Sea, giving the Israelites escape from Pharaoh's armies. He brought the walls down at Jericho. God put a dry path through the Jordan River, giving His people and the Ark of the Covenant safe passage. He has never failed His people. He is not about to fail us now. We need to focus on Kingdom of God Economics. Our needs will never exceed God's provisions. Obedience brings blessings. Only God gives genuine wealth. HE releases His wealth to those He knows will use it for His purposes.
The Bible tells us there will always be wars and rumors of wars. We need to expect the Anti-Christ, Satan's Superman. BUT...yes...a man! We are told he will be charismatic, eloquent, fine-looking, coming peacefully from a European country; he will seem to have come up out of no-where. He will create havoc as our world has never known. BUT...remember who is in control. Goliath mistakenly thought he was a dude that would never be taken down. David's faith in God took Goliath down with a stone slung from his slingshot. Faith, even the size of a mustard seed, has the power to move mountains. Jesus has already won the battle! We, God's children, will be victorious in the end.
The first of 15 Prayer Proclamations, given when real needs were apparent, depended upon God. Our forefathers beseeched God in prayer, expecting HIM to answer, and HE did. America's first Thanksgiving came, it was a time set apart for praise and prayer, thanking God for HIS answers, HIS guidance, HIS direction, HIS wisdom, and HIS loving insight. Genuine gratitude was given for the many miraculous ways God had revealed Himself. HE is the same God as when our forefathers praised and worshipped HIM. Our God never changes. The Bible tells us we have not because we ask not.
God says in 2 Chronicles 7:14, If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
Yes, our ever-loving, never-changing God still desires to give us, His children, answers, guidance, direction, wisdom and insight. We need to return to not being afraid.
2 Timothy 1:7 says, God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and a sound mind. We need to be like our forefathers and not hesitate to give our all, our blood, sweat and tears to keep this country of America great, a sweet land of liberty, and one nation under God.
There are enough Christians to take back America! Contrary to popular opinion, one person with God is always the majority. PTL, there are still a great many more Christians than only one. If every one of us were open to trusting the Holy Spirit’s promptings, to follow in Jesus’ radical but very loving footsteps being about our Heavenly Father’s business, we could keep this country great, as God intended One Nation, Under Him. We will once again be governed by the people, for the people.
